#18 Milan's AI Fortnite dance
This week we are focussing on three innovative tools that are making waves by enabling new forms of engagement and efficiency: Viggle for controllable video generation, Spotify's AI playlist generator, and the breakthroughs in synthetic market data using large language models. Let’s go!
Controllable Video Generation with Viggle
Have you ever dreamed of stepping onto a grand stage like your favorite artist, such as Lil Yachty? Well, now you can with a tool called Viggle. It allows you to superimpose yourself onto a person in a video clip, making it a really cool way to visualize yourself as a real performer, become a trendy new meme, or even start doing some Fortnite dances like Milan.
Viggle is currently in open beta and can be accessed via a Discord bot on their server. To get started, visit https://viggle.ai/ and click on "Join the beta." This will invite you to their public Discord server, similar to how Midjourney operates. Once you're in the server, navigate to one of the creator channels and begin your creation process. Simply type in /mix, upload an image of yourself, choose one of the premade video templates, and voila! Your AI-generated video will be created in no time.
Viggle is built on a foundation of video-3D technology that creates 3D models from 2D images. This model incorporates a basic understanding of physics, enabling it to perform impressive video transformations. This groundbreaking technology has the potential to unlock a wide range of previously impossible use cases.
Spotify AI playlist generatorÂ
Finding the perfect playlist to suit a specific situation or cater to a particular group of friends can be a challenge. Often, the available playlists don't quite match what you're looking for. To address this issue, Spotify has recently introduced AI-generated playlists. This new feature allows users to create personalized playlists for any occasion by simply entering a text-based prompt into the Spotify app.
Currently, the AI playlist feature has been rolled out to a limited number of regions, and the Netherlands is not yet included. It may take some time before users in the Netherlands can experience this new functionality firsthand.
However, the concept of generating personalized playlists using AI technology is undoubtedly intriguing. The potential for this feature to work seamlessly with voice-activated devices like Google Home, using voice recognition technology, is an exciting prospect that could further enhance the user experience.
Synthetic marketdataÂ
Real marketing data is expensive and hard to find, but incredibly valuable for marketing professionals. Smaller projects often lack the budget for extensive market research, limiting their access to such data. However, Large Language Models (LLMs) are beginning to disrupt the industry with synthetically generated datasets.
A recent study showed that perceptual maps of automotive brands created using GPT-4-generated synthetic data had a 90% similarity to maps derived from data collected from 530 human participants. This highlights the potential of AI-generated data to accurately replicate human-derived market insights.
The implications for marketing professionals are significant. Instead of spending tens of thousands on research, GPT models can generate datasets cost-effectively, democratizing access to valuable marketing data for projects of all sizes.Â
