The current GPT-4o model is your standard pre-trained LLM and will be used for most cases. The o3 model is the reasoning model from ChatGPT, which can be used for the more intricate questions. The other models function somewhat similar, the best thing to note is that any model with GPT in front is (Generative Pre-Trained Transformer) pre-trained and any other model likely includes reasoning.

Google has been making big strides to catch up to some of the leading AI company’s and they have done so quite well. It works the exact same as ChatGPT where the 4o model is similar to Gemini 2.0 Flash and the 2.5 models are close to o3. Gemini does offer great integration with different Google services.

A small mention to Gemini 1.5 Flash that can process 3000 images at a time, analyze an hour long video and listen to hours of audio. This is however only accesible through the ai studio from Google.

Here’s how you can use ChatGPT:

1. Provide a prompt: Start by describing the Rituals brand and the message you want to convey. For instance, you could ask ChatGPT to generate a script focusing on the luxury and self-care aspects of Rituals’ products.

   Example: "Write a 60-second ad script for Rituals that highlights the luxury of their skincare products and the importance of self-care in everyday life."

2. Refine the script: Once you have the initial script, you can ask ChatGPT to tweak the tone or length, ensuring it fits the brand’s image.

3. Finalize the script: Once satisfied, you have your script ready for the next stage!

Step 2: Generating Visuals with MidJourney, Sora, or Gemini

Now that you have the script, it’s time to think about visuals. Tools like MidJourney, Sora(ChatGPT 4o), and Gemini are fantastic for creating high-quality images for your ad. We are going to be using these tools to create a First and a Last frame of a scene. We can later use these to generate our video’s.

• Map out your scenes from the script and think of clever ways to write a prompt to match this shot.

• Generating Time! Generate images to get a feel of the different shots and potentially even change the prompt. Make sure to create different iterations to get a bigger picture of options.

• Decide which frames you are going to be using for the add.

Once you have the images, you can refine and enhance them in Photoshop, readying them for animation. You might want to choose a slightly different colour or remove a object. This can all be done in Photoshop

Step 3: Separating Side Assets for More Control.

Once you have your scenes mapped out and the shots generated, it is important to also take a look at any subjects within the video. In the example of Rituals, the fish had to have more control.

1. Separate Assets: Use any of the previously mentioned image generators to generate imagery of any items/subjects.

2. Meshy: Meshy is used to create any 3D models of objects that you might need in the video. You can then position these in every shape or form.

3. Make Them Transparent By generating them with a green screen background, they can be easily separated and made transport to make the implementation process easier.

4. Finalization: While you are still in this stage, make sure to match the lighting and shading of the generated shots. This will make everything look more cohesive in the end. (This is also the time to finalize position and rotation).

Step 4: Generating the Footage with Kling and Runway

Now comes the fun part—bringing your visuals to life using AI-powered animation tools.

• Kling/Runway: Use Kling or Runway to create smooth transition between your first and last frame.

• Continuation: If you want to create longer shots, you can use the ending frame of the first scene as the starting scene of the next.

Make sure the footage flows with the rhythm of your script, pacing out key moments where you want emphasis on certain visuals.

Step 5: Final Edits in Premiere Pro or CapCut

Once your animation footage is ready, it’s time to stitch everything together in Premiere Pro or CapCut.

1. Import your footage: Bring all your animated clips into your editing software.

2. Arrange your scenes: Follow the structure of your script and start placing your visuals in sequence.

3. Add voiceover and music: Overlay the voiceover based on the script you created earlier. Add soft, ambient music that fits the luxurious and relaxing vibe of Rituals.

Steps:

Go to voice changer

Select a preferred voice using the voice-changer feature.

Ensure the new voice fits the tone and enhances the video’s quality.

Step 6: Adding B-Roll Scenes

We used Hailuo to create the B-roll scenes

Generate Visuals in MidJourney:

Describe the desired shots to create consistent styles using the same mood board from character creation.

Pro Tip: Upload your script to ChatGPT and ask it to generate multiple prompts describing your scenes.

Example: Write five detailed prompts based on this script, specifying the setting, actions, and emotional atmosphere.

Use Hailuo to bring B-roll, intro, and outro images to life:

1. Upload your images.

2. Add a prompt describing the desired movement.

3. Define the main subject in the first frame and describe their motion or transformation.

Precise Prompt Formula= Main Subject in the first frame + Motion/Change +Camera Movement + Aesthetic Atmosphere

Example Prompt:

A cozy, sunlit workshop with a snow globe on a wooden table. Inside the globe, Santa rides a sleigh pulled by reindeer in a sparkling snowy scene. Surrounding the globe are hand-crafted toys, festive decorations, and warm golden light streaming through a frosty window.

Step 7: Finishing Touches

Add Custom Background Music:

Use Suno to generate music that matches the desired style.

Example: Joyful Christmas music with soft strings and bells. Warm and festive.

Enable the Instrumental option unless vocals are desired.

Final Edits:

Use a video editing software to seamlessly combine videos.

Add sound effects using ElevenLabs.

Design an engaging intro and outro banner to complete the project.

The tools we used: ChatGPT, Midjourney, Hailuo, Runway, Elevenlabs and Suno.

Step 1: Brainstorm Ideas & create a script

Tool: ChatGPT

The first step is to come up with an idea and create a script. We used ChatGPT to brainstorm ideas and then create a detailed scrip.

Prompt: We want to create a Christmas-themed video featuring a dialogue among three characters. The video should convey a warm, festive message, and could include humor, heartfelt moments, or a creative twist. Please provide some unique and engaging ideas for the storyline.

Prompt: Create a detailed script for [specify the idea], including dialogue for three characters, descriptions of the setting, actions, and any elements to enhance the festive Christmas atmosphere.

Step 2: Record video’s

Tool: -

Next, record template videos that will serve as the foundation for the AI-generated version.

→ Tip: Aim for a clear, stable shot with limited head movement and don’t blink too much. This ensures a smoother process in the following steps.

Step 3: Create characters in Midjourney

Tool: Midjourney

Use Midjourney to design the characters you’ll animate in Runway. While Runway provides its own templates, creating custom characters in Midjourney allows for a more unique look.

Some things that are important:

1. Characters need realistic, human-like features. If the eyes, nose, or mouth are not aligned correctly, Runway may not recognize them as “human,” and the animation will not work.

2. To achieve a more realistic effect, ensure the character is in portrait view, facing the camera.

Prompt: Create a Disney/Pixar-style portrait of Santa Claus sitting comfortably in his cozy home. The portrait focuses on Santa from the chest up, highlighting his cheerful expression, round glasses, and traditional red hat with white trim. Behind him, a warm and softly lit background shows hints of a fireplace and a decorated Christmas tree, adding to the festive ambiance. The art style should emphasize vivid colors and a soft, magical atmosphere

→ Tip: Use the Moodboard option in Midjourney to maintain consistency across your character designs.

→ Tip: If creating an animal character, add “anthropomorphic style” to the prompt. This will give your character more human-like features.

Step 4: Add the video in Runway

Tool: Runway

Now, go to Runway Video to video Gen-3-Alpha and select Act-one. Here, Upload your template video and the character portrait.

→ Tip: If the template video has too much movement, zoom in a little, changes are it will work better.

→ Tip: If the character portrait doesn’t work in Runway, zoom in a little, if it still does not work, try a different character portrait.

Step 5: Change voice in ElevenLabs.

Tool: Elevenlabs

The video’s still have the voice of the template recording. So go to Elevenlabs and choose voice-changer, then choose a voice you like and upload your template video.

Step 6: Images Intro / outdo and B-roll shots

Tool: (chatGPT), Midjourney

So now we have the characters animated, but we still need a intro shot, outdo shot and some B-roll material.

Go to midjourney and describe the shot you want to create.

→ Tip: use the same moodpboard you used for your characters, so you stay consistent in style.

→ Tip: You can upload your script to chatGPT and ask it to create multiple prompts to that describe the scenes, which you can upload straight into Midjourney, this creates better output in Midjourney.

Prompt: Referencing the provided script, write five prompts for different video scenes. Each prompt should include specific details about the setting, actions, and emotional atmosphere. This is the script: [add your script]

Step 7: Intro / outro and B-roll shots animation

Tool: Hailuo

Bring the intro, outro, and B-roll images to life with Hailuo. Upload your images to Hailuo and add a prompt in which you describe the movement.

→ Tip: Use the model I2V-01-live for animated characters, this model is better for 2D animations.

Step 8: Add everything in a video editor.

Tool: Any Video Editing Software (e.g., CapCut)

Now it’s time to put everything together. For this tutorial, we used CapCut because it’s quick and easy to use.

Steps:

1. Import your animated scenes, voiceovers, and B-roll footage.

2. Arrange them in sequence.

3. Add text, transitions, and effects to make your movie look polished.

What’s missing? The magic of background music!

Step 9: Create music with Suno

Tool: Suno

Add custom background music to enhance your movie’s emotional tone.

How?:

1. Go to Suno and describe the type of music you need.
   Example: “Joyful Christmas music with soft strings and bells. Warm and festive.”

2. Turn on the Instrumental option (unless you want singing).

3. Generate multiple options, and extend the music if it’s too short.

Step 10: Share Your Movie!

Your AI-powered Christmas movie is now complete. Share it with friends and family or post it on social media, and don’t forget to tag us—we’d love to see your creation!
